Hi Y’all! My name is Jude and I’m a 20 year old student from Columbia, Missouri studying in the UK for the semester! I currently love Westminster, and it’s Harrow campus, and I’m so excited for this opportunity.
Back home I love reading, baking and cooking! If I’m not in class or travelling, you can probably find me in the kitchen making something wonderful or hanging out with my friends. Oftentimes you can find me and my friends in the library or movie theatre! I don’t think I’ve missed an opportunity to travel when given one, even if it’s just a few hour drive across the state with my friends for a day trip. I can’t wait to see a little bit more of the world this semester!
While at Westminster, I’m studying digital media with an emphasis on Public Relations and Advertising which is super exciting! At my home university I’m getting a degree in journalism with an emphasis on strategic communications and public relations. I got into the program with a passion for magazine journalism, a passion that has never left, I switched to advertising during my sophomore year as I continued to take classes. During my entry level courses, I learned how advertising can be used to simply create an identity and message for a piece of media. The concept of being able to do this for media I either relate to personally or in the alternative non-profit media simply excites me to no end. I hope to combine that passion with a future law school education to work within the industry. I can’t wait to see what educational opportunity this semester at Westminster grants me!
