(Ab)out me – for context my name is Abbie

Hello World here is a little bit about me!:

My name is Abbie and I’m a 21 year old British music and media enthusiast. I was also born in the hospital next to the Harrow campus! I have been talking to camera’s since I was 2 years old and all I can say is that it has definitely influenced my career aspirations!

At the age of 16 I started my journey to get into the media industry. I entered a video competition called ‘The Vlogstar Challenge’ which was by Media trust, youtube and the evening standard. 1,500 people created videos and I ended up in the final 15 which meant I got to visit YouTube Space in London.

Since then, I have been running fan accounts for famous artists who have shared my digital content creation and used it for promotional content on their social media platforms. The likes of Dua Lipa, Tinie Tempah, Calvin Harris, Ellie Goulding and L Devine have used my content. AWAL (Sony), L Devine’s label has also shared my content. I also assisted Radio Harrow (Next to Westminster’s Harrow Campus) with social media. Now I create tiktok content as a social media ambassador for the university of Westminster and am a social media assistant for UWSU. As well as this, I am a freelance social media assistant intern for Promised Land Records, a British Record Label and Publisher.

Hobbies and Interests:
When I find a second of spare time (as balancing 3 freelance jobs with uni can mean that I sometimes only have evenings free), I go to as many concerts as I can with my friends. I have lost count of how many concerts I have been to but it’s probably around 60 by now. I went to my first concert at 13 and since then I have seen Dua Lipa, L Devine, Katy Perry, Zara Larsson, Charlie Puth and Shawn Mendes live to name a few!
