About me :)

Hello everyone.I’m Li Shanshan who comes from China, you can call me Jennifer. As an international student, I am excited to be a part of the university of Westminster.I’m from Yantai, Shandong Province where is located in the northern part of China. It’s a small but well known coastal city for its tasty seafood and juicy fruits.

In my spare time, I enjoy cooking. It is one of my favorite things to carefully handle fresh ingredients of various colors and forms and then cook wonderful meals that can completely alleviate and relax my mood and spirit.Meanwhile, when I have a long vacation, one of the things I make a point of doing is traveling. I’ve visited the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the Swan Castle in Germany, Austrian city parks, small towns in Venice, Italy, gorgeous cities in Switzerland, the Rocky Mountains in Canada, Singapore’s Fishtail Lion Park and the sand in Dubai… The most important aspect of traveling is that it helps me to get a lot of fresh knowledge in life, comprehend the culture and customs of many various countries, and see the world outside of textbooks. I appreciate life more now that I’ve traveled.

In addition,I have a dog at home and she’s the cutest little one in the world. I love her dearly, her name is Summer. Every morning, I take Summer out for a walk. We walked in the street, feeling the fresh morning air. Summer is running on the grass, chasing butterflies and birds. I look at her happy figure and feel very happy at this moment. On weekends, I would take Summer to the beach to play ball, throw frisbee… When she was tired, she would lean on my lap and make a whirring sound. When I held her, it was like holding a child. With Summer’s company, my life is no longer so boring. She also makes me more optimistic, cheerful, responsible and patient.

Please contact me if you want to get in touch or share your experiences. I am excited to meet everyone and make the most of my stay at THE UNIVERSITY OF WESTMINSTER.

Thank you for having me, and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

  1. I love how you have visited so many different places around the world! This has definately given me passport envy since I do not have a passport yet – the furthest I’ve travelled all the way is up to Newcastle and all the way down to the Isle of Wight! I do reccomend that you visit the Isle of Wight coasts and the surrounding coast in Newcastle (Noth Shields and Tynemouth) – the views and cliffs were beautiful and I completely forgot that I was still in England!
